one of us was aware of being in a delightful environment, walking on wonderful rugs, admiring the vast range of harmonious
contents, the lovely woods, beautiful ceilings throughout and also the impact of the glorious countryside views from the house.
...The afternoon was a real delight and will be long remembered'.
Antiques Society, May 2011
'Like many others in my party, I had wanted to visit Farnley for a
long time and so I was delighted to see the beauty of the Carr architecture, the superb plasterwork and the wonderful contents
... It is a truly exceptional house and I am so grateful to the family for having us there and giving us a tour – it
was a memorable day for us all'.
